THE CALL TO KNIGHTHOOD
A Call to Purpose. A Life of Service. A Vow Before God.
Investiture into our Order is not merely an enrollment — it is a sacred honor that carries profound responsibility. For nearly a millennium, the Knights Templar have stood as examples of courage, devotion, and unwavering service to our Lord. The world has changed, but the need for faithful men and women who will stand for righteousness has not. Today, the Mission of the Order is no less urgent than it was in the days of our founders.
God is calling a new generation of Knights Templar. To answer that call is to choose a life of purpose — to defend truth, to uphold virtue, and to be a light in a world that often prefers darkness. It is to join an ancient holy Order that has endured for 895 years. Knighthood is not nostalgia. It is a discipline. A commitment. A way of life.
THE SYMBOLS OF THE ORDER
When an initiate dons the white mantle, it is not a costume — it is a declaration. It signifies the laying aside of worldly distractions and the awakening of the inner Knight God has already planted within.
In 1146, Pope Eugenius III granted the Templars the privilege of bearing the Red Cross, or Cross Pattée, upon their mantles — a sign of their willingness to shed their blood in sacrifice for God. Today, it remains a symbol of our readiness to make sacrifices in service to Jesus Christ.
TRUE LINEAGE AND TRUE PURPOSE
Many groups today claim the name “Templar,” yet possess no lineage, no spiritual inheritance, and no fidelity to the Rule. Some demand excessive fees or restrict membership to the wealthy and influential. We reject such distortions.
The original Templars were known as the
Poor Knights of Christ. They owned nothing. They served without seeking reward. If a Knight died with even a single penny on his body, he was denied Christian burial.
Yet some modern groups would refuse membership to the Apostles themselves — and even to the humble carpenter who is our Lord.
We stand firmly against such practices.

MEMBER TESTIMONIAL
“Being a Knight Templar is not a title to me — it is a way of life. I hold fast to the honor, discipline, and virtues handed down from the old ways, and I believe those principles still call modern men to rise above themselves. The vows I have taken bind me to serve God faithfully and to act for the good of my family, my community, and the Order. Chivalry is more than tradition; it is the living expression of the principles that give life meaning.” —
